Ray At Night!

This was a really cool band. They are called Alligator Republic. They were one of the most professional bands I have seen at Ray. They had flashy lights!

Nose to the engineering stone

Back at WPI. Classes are in full swing. Which means HOMEWORK. AWWW YEEEAAAHHHH. Despite having small amounts of free time. I have managed to squeeze in a few cool things. one of which is this great new music I have discovered. The first band is called First Aid Kit. they are a two girl duo of folky indie goodness. I have fallen in love with them thanks to my friend here at school. Another great band I have been listening to non-stop is Young The Giant. I discovered them by accident when I went to Lollapalooza in Chicago this summer. They are pretty great, semi local to San Diego I guess? they are from Irvine. WHELP that is pretty much all I have to say for now. Enjoy the rest of summer y'all!

First Aid Kit

Young The Giant epicly awesome bead/mustache combo on the bass player.

Renewable engineering

Hello all, I have just returned from a trip to Ann Arbor Michigan hanging out with my family. One of my cousins is very knowledgeable and active in the ecological movement. And she got me thinking about how I could apply my form of engineering to help our global environment. I couldn't think of any real ways for robotics to help the environment. Which makes me sad. But it also fills me with hope that I might be able to be involved in cool things in the future that do help the world through robotics. Here are a few links to a few "eco bots" that i could find.

MIT oil spill robot
ROBO FISH
I am not really sure how that last one will work out, but it is a cool idea.

I will update if I find any more cool robots!
